This Was Sew Much Fun!

I got a new embroidery machine. Replaced my Bernina with a Brother and I am having a ball playing! It has built in Disney designs and one of my friends at school is decorating her new nursery in Winnie the Pooh. So the first thing I tried my machine out on was this little soft cube ball.
Hard to see the one-color outline Pooh figures but it is cute. I put a couple of jingle bells in it.

Then I found a great idea for embroidering diapers for burp pads. There is nothing like a very soft diaper to use a burp pad. I put an embroidery motif on one end, put some coordinating fabric on the ends and there ya go....two shower gifts in just a couple of hours. Really simple.

It felt like Spring

Well, it felt like Spring for a little while this week. Warm days, sunny, soft winds.....then swoosh it was gone. But while I was in the Spring mood I put together this little top. It would make a nice table topper or a great baby shower gift. I hope to have a free morning soon to quilt it.
